Designer: Hurst In-house Design

Hurst were asked to design, supply and deliver new mall seating for intu Watford’s new 400,000sq ft extension.

This new extension although situated beneath a glazed canopy, remains exposed to external elements thus requiring furniture suitable for this environment.

The client requested a seating design that would allow lighting to travel through the furniture. We found and experimented with a variety of materials and proposed a new product which would enable light to be transmitted through its internal structure.
